In the context of the Interinstitutional Metadata and Formats Committee (IMFC) the Institutions have decided to use
XML as structured, machine-readable format for implementation and the Akoma Ntoso XML schema for the mark-up of the
content of the legislative documents that are managed and exchanged by the Institutions in the scope of the legislative process.
