eProcurement
eProcurement is the use of electronic communications and transaction processing for public procurement (procedures and methods established for public sector organisations when buying supplies and services).
The collection of electronic data and metadata published in this business collection is a growing initiative that is intended for a future complete migration of public procurement to full eProcurement:
- eForms schemas: Commission Implementing Regulation 2019/1780 defines the new eForms format used to publish public procurement notices on TED in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union. The submission of the legacy standard forms in TED XML schema is closed on 31/01/2024. For further information, please see the TED Developer Docs. Please see the Archive for TED XML schemas.
- Authority tables and taxonomies used in eProcurement standardise the code lists used within the public procurement domain.
- eProcurement Ontology conceptualises, formally encodes and make available in an open, structured and machine-readable format concepts used in public procurement.
Further information on eProcurement can be consulted on the DG GROW Website.
