Publishing services for the EU institutions
(access for EU staff only)
The Publications Office of the European Union has developed the following tools and resources for its clients — the EU institutions, agencies and other bodies.
Publicare
The Publicare website is the Publications Office’s online catalogue of services for its clients. It presents the full range of services of the Office in various domains. For each service it provides detailed information, explanations, resources and contact points. Publicare can be accessed only by EU staff via EU Login credentials.
UPP Author Portal
The Author portal allows staff from EU institutions, agencies and bodies to introduce requests for publishing services, such as identification, editorial or copyright advice, development of digital or multimedia products, distribution and performance measurement of publications.
The Author portal is the first module of the Unified Production Platform (UPP), a new comprehensive application that will manage the entire production workflow for publishing services, from receipt of the initial requests to delivery of the outputs.
To be able to use it, EU staff must request specific access via the following link.
EU Publications Analytics and EU Legal Document Analytics
EU Publications Analytics and EU Legal Document Analytics are two self-service analytical platforms designed to serve the needs of EU staff, especially policy, communication and publications officers, as well as web managers.
The platforms provide insights on how readers interact with EU publications and legal documents that are disseminated through the websites managed by the Publications Office of the European Union, as well as through other websites via widgets (if applicable).
Legal Analysis Methodology
The Legal Analysis Methodology (LAM) presents the know-how of the Publications Office in the field of cataloguing of EU legal acts published in the Official Journal and EUR-Lex. It describes the meaning and use of metadata elements attributed to those acts.
