Administrative obligation is a controlled vocabulary that identifies the administrative obligations, which are a subclass of legal obligations. These obligations are requirements placed on individuals, businesses, and public administrations (including Member States, the EU and EU institutions) to provide information and perform administrative tasks, including for permitting, labelling, authorisation, registration, certification, notification, reporting, or record keeping, to comply with applicable laws. Administrative obligation is maintained by the Publications Office of the European Union and disseminated on the EU Vocabularies website.
