Recently, we’ve worked with some of you to provide guidance and solutions in the OP Web Guide that may be useful for sites hosted on the OP Portal and on other platforms.
To this end, we’ve created a new section called AI and Web solutions.
You will find information on AI-based multilingual services, eTranslation component, and video delivery solutions. More Web solutions will be published in the coming weeks.
In line with the Video delivery solutions guidelines, please note that we will remove on the evening of 5 May the Overlay image option for OP Portal video components Embed YouTube videos and Video lists to properly align with DGCOMM rules on loading third-party solutions and to provide a better user experience. If you are using this feature on the OP Portal, no action is required on your part, the overlay image will simply be removed.
Lastly, we recently updated:
- the Maps component (which allows you to easily embed maps on OP Portal sites) with the latest EU Commission Webtools specifications and provided manual coding instructions.
- And the Cards component to improve multilingual support.
