CPA is the European version of the CPC (Central Product Classifications of the United Nations), and the purposes it serves are in line with those of the CPC. CPA is the classification of products (goods and services), and the CPA product categories are related to the economic activities of the statistical classification of economic activities (NACE). The Latest version, CPA 2.2, is structured based on NACE 2.1, and will be applicable for European statistics from 2025 onwards.
